18.11.02 Festival ARTONOV 2018

The fourth event in my tour in Europe, Festival ARTONOV is the bridge that brings visual arts, performing arts, space arts and music together. Its fourth edition took place in Brussels and Lille in October. I performed with musicians in the historical monument, Villa Cavrois in Lille in France on October 27th.
Villa Cavrois is a large modernist historical mansion built in 1932 by French architect Robert Mallet-Stevens for Paul Cavrois, an industrialist in the textile industry. The French Ministry of Culture purchased the building in 2001 and in 2004, restoration work was commenced. The villa opened to the public in 2015.

We have been putting too much importance to the brain, rather than the body. The brain orders the body as if it were a tool of the brain. Art is not something to appreciate it hung on a wall, but rather something to have an experience as a kind of happening. The greatest object of art is to convey the meaning of the moment when we are living here now, through the body.
